When should I have my boiler serviced?
To keep up with your boiler warranty your boiler should be serviced every year. An annual service is regular enough to keep your boiler in good working condition and limit wear over time.
As well as keeping your boiler running when you need it, an annual service is also a condition of the warranty for many new boilers. If you want to keep your boiler’s warranty valid, you’ll have to service it annually. Sometimes, not servicing your boiler annually can leave your home insurance invalid too, should you encounter a boiler problem.
What is the purpose of a boiler service?

Will a boiler service prolong my boiler life expectation?
A boiler consists of many different parts. A typical boiler life expectation is about 15 years. Ideally all the parts on a boiler should work but general wear and tear can come in to play. In most cases, these breakdown parts, eg. fans, pumps and PCBs, were not dealt with on previous service. If a boiler is beyond economical repair then it reaches its end of life.
